Big Bash League
The Big Bash League is an Australian professional franchise Twenty20 cricket league. As the name suggests, it is played in T20 format. It is a domestic league established by Cricket Australia in 2011. It has replaced the previous Twenty20 Big Bash tournament organized by Cricket Australia. The previous league used to feature six teams while The Big Bash compiles eight city-based franchises. The tournament is sponsored by the KFC since its inception. It is quite popular among both game lovers and professional tipsters.

It can be said as an Australian version of IPL but with a little less popularity. The Big Bash League follows the same fixture format every year except for the inaugural season. The first season had 28 group stage matches while now it has 32 games in the group stage. The participating teams include Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers, and Sydney Thunder.
